GIS Student Work

GIS Student Work

Students at the Center for Spatial Planning Analytics and Visualization and across campus routinely create maps, software applications and code, and other geospatial tools for their research assistantships, classes, or even personal enjoyment. Our students’ high-caliber work is often recognized through their contributions to conferences, workshops, journal publications, and geospatial contests -- including our own GIS Day student competition.

Click on an image below to view GIS Day submissions and sample works created by students enrolled in GIS classes offered through the School of City and Regional Planning and taught by our research faculty.
